Three car smash on Hale Street

An Alfa Romeo was written off in Hale Street, Staines when it was involved in a smash with a Ford Transit van that police believe may have broken a red light.

The incident took place at about 8.15pm on Friday July 18 when the silver Alfa Romeo was crossing the junction and collided with the silver Transit, which was travelling in the opposite direction.

The two vehicles spun and collided with a blue Toyota Yaris and the driver and passenger of the Alfa Romeo were taken to St Peter's Hospital in Chertsey with minor injuries.

Police are investigating the crash and witnesses should contact Surrey Police on 0845 125 2222.
