A portrait and wedding photographer is holding a charity picture session on Saturday March 7 at the Thames Club, Wheatsheaf Lane, Staines, from 12noon-5pm to raise funds for charity.
Anna-Marina Dearsley of AMDphotography is welcoming families to have their portait done for £30, with the entire fee going to Cancer Research UK. Each family will receive one free print.

Two Rivers shopping centre in Staines has embarked on an unusual charity collection - ladies bras.
This is not the result of a strange fetish the shopping centre has developed but part of a year-long charity bra collection campaign to raise funds for Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
Firefighters slid a coathanger between the window and frame of a car to open the lock in order to release a child in the vehicle on Monday, February 16, in Penton Avenue, Staines, at about 7.50am.
The child, who had only been locked in for a few minutes, was unhurt.
Head of the arboretum at Kew Gardens, Tony Kirkham, will be the guest speaker tonight (Wednesday) (11) at the Spelthorne Natural History Society's meeting at the Greeno Centre, Glebeland Gardens, Shepperton, from 8pm.
Tony was featured on BBC 2's series about British trees last year and has also been seen on the channel's programme documenting the goings-on at Kew Gardens.
Non-members are welcome to attend the talk, which is entitled Trees and the pressure they are under today, by paying £1. For more information call 01932 232344.
Staines Brass Band will perform a Valentine's Concert on Thursday, February 19 at St Peter's Church, Laleham Road, Staines, at 7.30pm.

A proposal to open a new coffee shop in The Broadway, Staines, has hit the skids after Spelthorne Council refused planning permission to convert the building.
K Sheikh had applied to knock two shops into one and turn it into a coffee bar but councillors rejected the proposal at the planning committee meeting on Wednesday last week.
Home-Start Spelthorne is starting its next preparation course for volunteers on Wednesday February 25.
