BBC star guest speaks at Spelthorne National History Society's meeting

Head of the arboretum at Kew Gardens, Tony Kirkham, will be the guest speaker tonight (Wednesday) (11) at the Spelthorne Natural History Society's meeting at the Greeno Centre, Glebeland Gardens, Shepperton, from 8pm.

Tony was featured on BBC 2's series about British trees last year and has also been seen on the channel's programme documenting the goings-on at Kew Gardens.

Non-members are welcome to attend the talk, which is entitled Trees and the pressure they are under today, by paying £1. For more information call 01932 232344.
