Four arrested after punch-up in Staines
Four men have been arrested after a fight occurred in Staines town centre this month where a number of people sustained minor injuries.
The incident happened on Tuesday October 20 between 11 and 11.15pm outside Que Pasa bar in Mustard Mill Road when policemen attended after reports of a fight between a group of men.
Surrey Police arrested a 38-year-old man from Staines on suspicion of assault and public order affray, and later arrested a 21-year-old man from Reading, a 19-year-old from Feltham, and a 22-year-old from Staines on suspicion of public order affray.
They have all be released on bail until December 2 while the investigation continues.
Detective constable Hannah Toogood, who is leading the investigation, said: "Although we have already made a number of arrests in connection with this incident we still urgently need anyone who was present on the night in question to come forward.
"Staines town centre would have been busy at the time of the incident and I would urge anyone with even the smallest piece of information to come forward."
The police said they are speaking to witnesses and reviewing CCTV, which they say has shown that a large number of people were passing by while the fight took place.
DC Toogood said: "Surrey Police will not tolerate any form of violent disorder and I am determined to bring those responsible for this crime to justice."
