Staines opticians raises money on Halloween
Staff working in a Staines opticians dressed in Halloween gear to raise money for charity on
Workers at Dolland and Aitchison, in the High Street, dressed up in the scary devil gear and raised over £100 for Action for Blind People, which is a sporting organisation for the blind.
A raffle was held outside the store for a few hours next to a skeleton, and shoppers won chocolates, novelty gifts, and sunglasses.
Branch manager Lynne Bates said: "It went really well, we were only out there for a few hours so it was good we raised £100, but everyone seemed to be having fun."
