Staines Town FC draw in FA Cup clash against Millwall

Staines Town FC have drawn with Millwall in the second round of the FA Cup.

The score was 1-1 at full time today (28), which means the teams will play each other again at Millwall's ground, The Den, at a later date.

Despite worries from Wheatsheaf Lane residents on possible trouble from fans down their road, the game went off without a hitch.

One Wheatsheaf Lane resident said: "It was such a good game, and Staines deserved to win. They were the stronger team.

"I must admit I was concerned at first, because we were getting assurance calls from the police, but nothing happened. Millwall did themselves proud.

"The police and the club did such a good job of organising everything."

We'd like to hear from you.
