Labour choose Spelthorne MP candidate for general election

The Labour party have chosen their candidate for the up and coming 2010 general elections.

Adam Tyler-Moore beat four other Labour candidates, and believes he has a good chance of becoming elected.

He has launched a campaign to put an end to sleaze in politics, and due to the expenses scandal has said he will live in Spelthorne, not take a second home or second job, and to publish receipts for expenses he claims each month.

A solicitor professionally, Mr Tyler-Moore said: "I am honoured and privileged to have been selected to represent Labour in Spelthorne. The people of Spelthorne have been badly let down by David Wilshire and the Tories . We need a root and branch clean up of politics. I commit to live in Spelthore once elected."

Mr Tyler-Moor added that he believes the Conservative Party will try and wipe the slate clean by selecting a new candidate, but he is calling on David Cameron to remove Mr Wilshire now and to get him to pay money back.
