Staines mum wins lottery
A MOTHER from Staines has won the lottery after her numbers came up on Saturday December 5.
Charlotte Rodgman, 39, from Booth Drive, plans to "pay off her bills" after winning a share of £2.6 million.
The mum-of-two is part of a lotto syndicate of work colleagues who will share the winnings between them.
The group of 23 all work for Servisair at Heathrow Termainal 3.
Miss Rodgman's daughter Charmaine, 21, said: "It was a surprise, my mum didn't even get a phonecall, she just logged on to facebook on Sunday night and read it on someone else's status.
"She was in shock.
"I think she's just going to pay of the bills but she is very excited."
Among the other winners were Matthew Faulkner from Shepperton and Wendy Esam from Staines who were unavailable for comment.
Paul Cotter, syndicate organiser, from Denham said: "Sunday was one of the best days of my life. As I was ringing round giving everyone the news I felt like Father Christmas!
"I was on the phone from 11 o'clock in the morning through to nine at night and everyone's reaction was fantastic.
"Most have won around £100,000 which is going to make this Christmas a very special one."
The group who have been playing the lotto together for two years, scooped the Christmas bonus in Saturday's draw but only came forward to claim the prize earlier this week.
The winning ticket was a lucky dip bought at WHSmith at Heathrow Airport Terminal 3.
The numbers were 8, 20, 43, 45, and 49.
